The Product Design Internship will begin in May and end in December of 2025.
At Colony Brands, our Product Designers work collaboratively with our Merchandisers, Catalog Managers and Vendors to build our product from the “front-end”. Your work will center on hard lines for selected company brands and catalogs. Your work will involve creating visuals to present concepts to Merchants, developing technical specifications and evaluating functionality of products in both physical and digital form. You’ll also be responsible for:
• Utilizing 3D modeling software and sketching with physical and digital mediums to create and render hard good concepts
• Working with merchandisers to develop product designs appropriate to customer style needs and expectations
• Working with design staff to determine product form, function and manufacturing processes consistent with strategic design direction
• Developing strong working knowledge of the development process from idea conceptualization, through merchandising, sampling to catalog placement
• Maintaining library of color and material samples
