Line Service Lead

This pivotal role ensures the smooth departure of aircraft from our Janesville facility through a variety of tasks including cleaning, fueling, servicing, and moving aircraft
This is a Monday thru Friday, 2nd shift position.

You’ll be responsible for:
•Aircraft Maintenance: Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors and assist maintenance staff with light service work.
•Indirect Leadership: Supervise and train line service employees, ensuring all aircraft are ready for flight with complete cleaning, stocking, and fueling.
•Facility Upkeep: Maintain the hangar and office facilities, keeping them clean, stocked, and well-maintained.
•Inventory Management: Oversee hangar, office, and aircraft supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels and cost-effective purchasing.
•Fuel System Management: Operate and monitor the jet fuel storage and delivery systems, maintaining fuel quality and quantity.
•Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with maintenance and operations staff to minimize aircraft downtime and maximize availability.

What It Takes
In addition to a high attention to detail and reliability, we are looking for:
•Mechanical aptitude for inspecting equipment, identifying issues, and performing minor repairs
•Some aviation maintenance experience preferred
•A proven record of effectively communicating with supervisors and peers
•Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
•Valid driver’s license
•A working knowledge and use of MS Office and Windows applications, especially Excel for communicating and reporting
