We are seeking an independent and self-motivated Lead Aircraft Technician to support our crew and ensure the safety of our aircraft
As part of the Maintenance team, this person will be responsible for routine aircraft maintenance for SC Aviation and customers’ aircraft
This is a second-shift, Monday-Friday position based in Janesville, WI

What You’ll Do:
You’ll serve as a supervisor to the second shift maintenance team and be an integral part of SC Aviation’s safety and maintenance team
In addition to performing routine maintenance, you will be doing basic troubleshooting and repairs to ensure minimum schedule impact on all SC Aviation’s managed aircraft without compromising safety or quality
You’ll work on our fleet that includes Hawker 800XPs, Falcon 2000s, and Falcon 900s
You’ll also be responsible for:
• Demonstrating technical expertise
• Independently performing scheduled inspections
• Ensuring that all aircraft are safe for flight before scheduled flights begin departure
• Performing required operational checks as required for SCA operations
• Procuring parts from external vendors
• Providing daily maintenance work, aircraft status, and time records
• Communicating with flight crews regarding aircraft status
• Training Junior Aircraft Mechanics as needed
