Are you an independent, self-motivated Aircraft Technician with a passion for aviation? SC Aviation is looking for you! We’re hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts in Janesville, WI. With over 70 years of delivering world-class aviation experiences, we need your mechanical expertise to keep our fleet flying safely and smoothly.
What You’ll Do
In addition to performing routine maintenance, you will be doing basic troubleshooting and repairs to ensure minimum schedule impact on all SC Aviation’s managed aircraft without compromising safety or quality. You’ll work on our fleet that includes Hawker 800XPs, Challenger 300, Falcon 2000s, and Falcon 900s. You’ll also be responsible for:
• Demonstrating technical expertise
• Independently performing scheduled inspections
• Ensuring that all aircraft are safe for flight before scheduled flights begin departure
• Performing required operational checks as required for SCA operations
• Procuring parts from external vendors
• Providing daily maintenance work, aircraft status, and time records
• Communicating with flight crews regarding aircraft status, in the absence of a shift supervisor/Lead Mechanic
• Training Junior Aircraft Mechanics as needed
