We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to support our Trade Compliance department. If you’re a collaborative problem solver who is focused on continuous improvement and thrive in a fast-paced environment – this could be the position for you!

As a key member of the department, you’ll be responsible for driving business-wide trade compliance process improvements to optimize the supply chain and will be a point of contact for answering questions and resolving day-to-day issues. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure that all trade compliance requirements are met. You’ll work externally with customs brokers/freight forwarders and vendors to ensure alignment with global trade initiatives and government agencies as required. You’ll also be responsible for:
• Determining tariff classification - Responsible for overall classification accuracy for assigned commodities.
• Collecting and verifying information to be reported to U.S. Customs for Partner Government Agencies (PGA)
• Managing record retention of all import related documentation to assure a legal audit trail is readily accessible at all times should the government require an audit (Informed Compliance – Mod Act)
• Manage the Post Entry process - file Post Summary Corrections (PSC’s) to ensure corrections are filed and documented for all errors or updates needed for each entry.

Job Requirements


We need someone who is able to work independently with a high degree of self-motivation and organization. Ideally you’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline and 3+ years of international logistics experience. In addition, we are looking for:
• Strong negotiation skills with internal and external customers
• Working knowledge of Incoterms (International Banking Terms)
• The ability to work efficiently and accurately while under constant time constraints
• Solutions oriented critical thinking is required to establish sustainable problem solving
• Superior oral and written communication
