To support our second shift Bakery operations in Monroe, WI, we are seeking to add a regular full-time Bakery Warehouse Lead to support business needs. If you would enjoy the challenges and excitement of working in fast-paced environment - this could be the job for you!
What You’ll Do:
This role will be responsible for accurately and timely picking/delivering raw ingredients, components, packaging materials and all other freight for the Monroe Bakery Department on its 2nd shift. You will also be directing, supervising, and controlling the activities of the 2nd shift operations.
You’ll also be responsible for:
• Supervising the training, operations, working techniques, and safety conditions for all employees
• Troubleshooting basic mechanical issues on the shift
• Operating a forklift to obtain supplies and return to stock functions
• Establishing and maintaining positive communications within the Bakery
• Inspecting forklifts for to ensure they are safe for operations
What It Takes:
We need an individual who is self-motivated and can work independently while following procedures. In addition, we are looking for an individual who can work in a fast-paced work environment with a high attention to detail. You must possess:
• At least a High School degree, or equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant experience (we will train)
• The ability of following sequences with a high attention to detail
• Strong experience/knowledge of supervising a group of employees
• Exceptional communication skills
